ACCREDITED STCW COURSES BY MARINA (FOR DISTANCE LEARNING)
• MANAGEMENT LEVEL FOR MARINE DECK OFFICER COURSE(MLC-DECK)
Deck Function 1 (MLC–Deck F1). This training is designed to meet the mandatory minimum requirements for approved education and training under Regulation II/2 of the STCW Convention, 1978, as amended, and the minimum standard of competence in Section A-II/2 of the STCW Code under the function Navigation at the Management Level. The course has a total indicative duration of one hundred ten (110) instructional hours to cover the topics enumerated in Part B – Course Outline.
Deck Function 2 (MLC–Deck F2). This training is designed to meet the mandatory minimum requirements for approved education and training under Regulation II/2 of the STCW Convention, 1978, as amended, and the minimum standard of competence in Section A-II/2 of the STCW Code under the function Cargo Handling and Stowage at the Management Level. The course has a total indicative duration of thirty (30) instructional hours to cover the topics enumerated in Part B – Course Outline.
Deck Function 3 (MLC–Deck F3). This training is designed to meet the mandatory minimum requirements for approved education and training under Regulation II/2 of the STCW Convention, 1978, as amended, and the minimum standard of competence in Section A-II/2 of the STCW Code under the function Controlling the Operation of the Ship and Care for Persons on Board at the Management Level. The course has a total indicative duration of fifty-five (55) instructional hours to cover the topics enumerated in Part B – Course Outline.
