AVIATION SECURITY COURSES

  • BASIC AVIATION SECURITY COURSE 

This ten (10) days/80 hours classroom instructions and 1 month OJT course will train and equip Aviation Security personnel with the knowledge, skills and attitudes/abilities to enforce, monitor and apply airport security preventive measures such as access control measures and procedures in accordance with the National Civil Aviation Security Program (NCASP). 

  • BASIC AVIATION SECURITY REFRESHER COURSE

This five (5) days/40 hours course will refresh and update aviation security personnel with the latest aviation security threats, security incidents, security measures, new technology and procedures to enforce, monitor and apply airport security preventive measures in accordance with the National Civil Aviation Security Program (NCASP).

  • BASIC AVIATION SCREENER COURSE

This ten (10) days/80 hours classroom instructions and 1 month OJT course will train and equip newly hired AVSEC Screening Personnel with knowledge, skills and right attitudes/abilities to enforce, monitor and apply screening of persons, carry-on and hold baggage (in-line and cargo) in accordance with the National Civil Aviation Program (NCASP) 

  • BASIC AVIATION SCREENER REFRESHER COURSE

This five (5) days/40 hours course will refresh and update the AVSEC Screener with the aviation security threats and incidents, well as with the new technology and relevant security procedures to be implemented in the pre-board screening of passengers, an/or the other airport-users and their baggage in accordance with the National Civil Aviation Security Program (NCASP)  

MARITIME SECURITY COURSES

  • PORT FACILITY SECURITY OFFICER (PFSO) – IMO MODEL COURSE 3.21

This four (4) day course will provide knowledge to those who may be designated to perform the duties and responsibilities of a Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) as defined in section A/2.1.8 (and A/17) of the ISPS Code and, in particular, the duties and reponsibilites with respect to the security of a port facility, for ensuring the development of a Port Facility Security Assessment, for ensuring the development, implementation, maintenance and update a Port Facility Security Plan and for liasing with Ship Security officers (SSOs) and with Company Security Officer (CSOs)  

  • MARITIME SECURITY AWARENESS TRAINING FOR PORT PERSONNEL WITH DESIGNATED SECURITY DUTIES – IMO MODEL COURES 3.24

This two (2) day course will provide knowledge to those security Personnel Performing Securities Duties and Responsibility in Port Facility as defined in the ISPS Code section A18.2 and 18.3 Part B for ensuring the implementation of the security measures in the security plan at all security levels. 

  • MARITIME SECURITY AWARENESS TRAINING FOR PORT PERSONNEL WITHOUT DESIGNATED SECURITY DUTIES – IMO MODEL COURES 3.25

This two (1) day course will provide the knowledge required for all personnel who are not directly assigned specific duties in connection with a security plan but are involved in the work of port facilities and therefore affected by the requirements of the SOLAS Chapter XI-2, ISPS Code, and the National Security Program for Sea Transportation and Maritime Infrastructure.

  • FORMULATE AND CARRY OUT PORT FACILITY SECURITY ASSESSMENT
  • DEVELOP PORT FACILITY SECURITY PLAN
  • CONDUCT TRAINING TO PORT FACILITY SECURITY OFFICERS (PFSO), ALL PERSONNEL CONDUCTING SECURITY DUTIES AND NOT PERSONNEL CONDUCTING DUTIES
  • CONDUCT INTERNAL AUDIT PROCEDURES AND REVIEW OF THE PORT FACILITY SECURITY PLAN (PFSP)
  • CONDUCT DRILLS AND EXERCISE
  • PORT FACILITY SECURITY ADVISORY COUNCIL (PFSAC) FACILITATION
  • CONDUCT LECTURE ON DRRMS.
