RFPNW
Rating Forming Part of a Navigational Watch – RFPNW (Regulation II/4)
This course aims to meet the mandatory minimum requirements for knowledge, understanding, and proficiency in Table A-ll/A as required in Regulation ll/4 of the 1978 STCW Convention, as amended.
Safety Training for Personnel Providing Direct Service to Passengers in Passenger Spaces -STPPDPPS (Regulation V/2)
Safety Training for Personnel Providing Direct Service to Passengers in Passenger Spaces
This covers lectures on the mandatory minimum requirements and abilities specified in Section A-V/2 paragraph 2 of the STCW Code, as amended.
To meet the minimum standard of competence for all trainees assigned to shipboard duties as required in Section A-V/2 paragraph 2 of the STCW Code as amended, this course is designated to enable the trainees to successfully demonstrate the following competences in Safety Training for Personnel Providing Direct Service to Passengers in Passengers Spaces.
Specially, at the end of the course the trainee must:
- Communicate with crew and passengers during an emergency;
- Demonstrate to passengers the use of personal life-saving appliances;
- Embark and disembark passengers, with special attention to persons with disabilities and persons needing special assistance.
Security Awareness Training and Seafarers with Designated Security Duties – SATSDSD (Regulation VI/6 )
Security Awareness Training and Seafarers with Designated Security Duties (SDSD)
This course is intended to provide the knowledge required for seafarers with designated security duties in connection with the Ship Security Plan (SSP) to perform their duties in accordance with the ghostwriting requirements of SOLAS Chapter XI-2 as amended, the ISPS Code, and section A-VI/6 of the STCW Code as amended.
RFPEW
Rating Forming Part of an Engineering Watch – RFPEW (Regulation III/4)
This course aims to meet the mandatory minimum requirements for knowledge, understanding, and proficiency in Table A-lll/4 as required in the Regulation lll/4 of the 1978 STCW Convention as amended.
Passenger Ship Crisis Management and Human Behavior Training – PSCMHBT (Regulation V/2)
Passenger Ship Crisis Management and Human Behavior Training
This course covers the mandatory competences and the required knowledge, understanding and proficiencies prescribed in Section A-V/2 paragraph 4, Table A-V/2-2 of the STCW Code as amended.
To meet the minimum standard of competence for all trainees assigned to shipboard duties as required in Section A-V/2 paragraph 4 of the STCW Code as amended, this course is designed to enable the trainees to successfully demonstrate the competences on Passenger Ship Crisis Management and Human Behaviour Training.
Specifically, at the end of the course the trainee must:
- organize shipboard emergency procedures;
- optimize the use of resources;
- control response to emergencies;
- control passengers and other personnel during emergency situations; and
- establish and maintain effective communications.
Passenger Ship Crowd Management Training – PSCMT (Regulation V/2)
Passenger Ship Crowd Management Training
This course covers the mandatory competences and the required knowledge, understanding and proficiencies specified in Section A-V/2 paragraph 3 and Table A-V/2-1 of the STCW Code, as amended.
To meet the minimum standard of competence for all seafarers assigned to shipboard duties as required in section A-V/2 paragraph 3 of the STCW Code as amended, this course is designed to enable the trainees to successfully demonstrate the competences on Passenger Ship Crowd Management Training. Specifically, at the end of the course the trainee must:
Contribute to the implementation of shipboard emergency plans and procedures to muster and evacuate passengers; and
Assist passengers on route to muster and embarkation stations;
