This assessment evaluates/assesses the knowledge and skills on the basics of food and beverage service in food establishments such as restaurants, hotels, canteens, clubs, motels and resorts. They also trained to provide room service, prepare tables, clean and clear food service areas.
The FOOD AND BEVERAGE SERVICES NC II Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to provide food and beverage service to guests in various food and beverage service facilities.

This assessment evaluates/assesses the knowledge, skills, and attitude of a bartender in cleaning bar areas, operating bar, preparing and mixing cocktails in accordance with industry standards.
The BARTENDING NC ll Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to operate a bar, prepare and mix cocktails and non-alcoholic concoctions and provide basic wine service to guests in all food and beverage service providers except for “Specialty Coffee Shops”.

The TRAVEL SERVICES NC II Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to manage the travelers’ request for pre to post trips. It issues necessary travel documents and arranges reservations for travel related services.

The TOUR GUIDING SERVICES NC II Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to assist and guide the tourists and coordinate their itinerary from the day of arrival at a specific destination up to the day of departure. They serve as a constant traveling companion for the tourists and see to it that whatever is contracted by the tour operator abroad is given as per contract as specified in the itinerary.

This assessment evaluates/assesses the skills, knowledge, and attitudes required in rendering catering services on board ship in accordance with maritime industry standards. Its core of training covers competencies in providing mess hall services, performing housekeeping services as well as providing assistance in receiving and storing provision and supplies.
This course covers the comprehensive competencies required to become a responsible and effective mess man working on board in commercial and/or passenger vessels serving the international trade.

The EVENTS MANAGEMENT SERVICES NC III Qualification consists of competencies that a person must achieve to coordinate events, functions and/or conferences which may be held in conference centers, hotels, motels, restaurants, clubs, resorts and luxury liners. It includes competencies on event planning such as planning and developing an event proposal, concept, and program, selecting a venue and site and updating event industry knowledge, as well as competencies in on-site event management such as providing onsite management services, managing contractors and updating knowledge on protocol.
